Advance Steel Tubes (ASTL) is one of India's premier manufacturers, exporters and suppliers of premium quality Steel Pipes, PVC Pipes, Highway & Road Safety Equipment.
Established in the year 1974, the company was initially into the business of black steel tubes and pipes. In the year 1983, it started manufacturing galvanized steel tubes and pipes from 15mm N.B. To 250 mm N.B. in various thickness up to 10 mm. The Steel H. R. Coils, used for manufacturing these pipes are directly sourced from SAIL and TISCO.
In 1996, the company undertook a diversification program for manufacturing of Hamilton Poles, S.S. Mast and Structurals. Now, after managing all in-house manufacturing facilities, ASTL has diversified into the manufacture and supply of Highway Guardrails/ Metal Crash Barriers.
ASTL is registered with DGTD, DGS&D, EIL, SAIL, RCF,TCIL, UPJN, Deptt. of Atomic Energy, HPCL, MECON, NTPC, BSNL, EEPC and Northern Railway. It is also an ISO-9002 certified company. The company's products have been approved and accepted by LLOYDS, DNV etc. It has a well equipped manufacturing facility with an independent modern metallurgical laboratory and employs sophisticated test techniques and strict quality control.
The company is a regular supplier of its products to Govt./ Semi Govt./ PSU organisations and actual consumers all over India like Public Health Dept., Irrigation Dept., Ordinance Factories, Electricity Boards, NTPC, BHEL, Coal (India), Neyveli Lignite, Telecom Dept., SAIL, GWSSB, Railway, CPWD, MES, IOCL, HPCL, EPCL etc.
The company also dabbles in export business and its exports have been to countries in the Middle East, South Africa, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda and Mauritius etc. During the last year it exported almost 25% of its total production of C|GI and Black Pipes. The company is amongst one of the most well-managed units in the steel manufacturing sector. It is managed by Mr. D. N. Agarwal, the Managing Director of the company who himself is a B. Tech, Engineer from IIT, Mumbai.
